‘Middle E’ is a series of silk-screen printed works that show the ‘E’ letterform that has absorbed the spirit of the now beaten and murderous Middle East.
This work was commissioned by the Letterspace Project, where 26 designers (Among them Paula Scher, Tony Brook, Oded Ezer, Marian Bantjes and more) created the inaugural Letterspace alphabet informed by each of their own spaces throughout the UK, America, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. It will be displayed this April at the Whitworth Gallery and throughout Manchester city centre.
